Interactive 3D

Your product, in their hands.

An interactive 3D view of your product on your own website. Visitors turn it, tilt it and see it from every side, on a phone or a computer. $599 for the first product, with no monthly fee.

Try it first

Nectar is our showpiece: a gold-leaf sculpture you can turn and tilt. Drag it, use its buttons, or press the arrow keys. Then picture your own product in its place.

Or see a real product: a sample water bottle with labels you can choose, so the view turns to show that part.

What it’s good for

Anything people want to see from every side before they decide: handmade goods, jewelry, furniture, tools, packaging, a prototype, or an idea you’re pitching. It works best for products whose shape, finish or workings are the point.

Built the way we build everything

  • It feels real. The view has weight: it follows the hand, glides, and settles.
  • Everyone can use it. Buttons and arrow keys do everything a drag does, and people who turn motion off see a still image instead.
  • Kind to phones. On a phone, a drag on the product turns it and a swipe beside it scrolls the page. It pauses and frees the phone’s graphics when it scrolls out of view.
  • Fast and private. No app, no plugin, no outside requests, no tracking. It runs on your own site, on our own engine.

What the research says

  • In lab studies, shoppers who could turn a product in 3D liked the brand more and said they were more likely to buy. That held for products that are all about shape or how they work (Li, Daugherty and Biocca, 2003).
  • Across four experiments, handling a product on screen helped people picture themselves using it, and that went with a stronger intention to buy (Schlosser, 2003).
  • Shoppers who could interact with a product understood it better than shoppers who saw only still pictures. A good video did about as well, so 3D is a strong tool, not magic (Jiang and Benbasat, 2007).
  • Google has said people engage with 3D images in Search almost 50% more than with static ones. That measures engagement, not sales, and Google didn’t publish how it was measured (Google, 2022).

You’ll see figures like “94% more sales” online. We couldn’t trace them to a published method, so we don’t repeat them.

We can make this your product

We start from your product’s 3D file (a GLB) and fit it to the viewer. You get true colours, lighting that suits it, and numbered spots that point out what matters, like a stitch, a clasp or a finish. Try the sample bottle to see how it feels.

No 3D file yet? We’ll walk you through scanning the product with your phone, or get a professional model quoted before anything is spent.

What it costs

  • $599 for your first product: up to six labelled spots, a matching still image for older phones, and setup and testing on phones and computers.
  • $249 for each product after that, on the same site.
  • $1,999 for ten products. Larger catalogs get a quote.
  • No monthly fee. It’s part of your site, and it’s yours.

Phone scanning includes an hour of cleanup. A professionally made model is quoted separately, and you see the price before any work starts.
